The One With The Weird "Friends" Episode

the show begins with Chandler wondering about his relationship with Monica. however, Joey is there to save the day and tells Chandler that his relationship with Monica is reaching and touching ppl in a meaningful way. but in this scene, Joey is not in Chandler and Monica's apartment and not living across the hall, but rather Chandler is talking to him on an extended balcony from his apartment that wraps around the corner of his apartment. Joey is living in a nearby apartment and talking to him through his window. Joey's apartment window isn't too far from the balcony.

so, as Joey is explaining to Chandler how important his relationship with Monica is, there's a shot of Joey's building and you can see that ppl are watching Friends on their tv sets. as these strangers are watching the show, they are either in great joy, or in much sadness.

anyway, next scene has Joey and Chandler on the streets infront of their apartments and just talking and it seems as if they're ghosts because ppl can not see them. this was evident when they see that Joey walks by with strangers trying to comfort them because they want what Chandler and Monica have. *puke*..c'mon..

after a "commercial break" if you will, we meet Phoebe. btw Rachel and Ross do not appear in this dream. so, we meet Phoebe whose background is very bizarre (just like the show). she is actually from a whole different universe or timeline, but she doesn't even know it. it's like she has no recollection of it and only has the memeories of where she had been.

apparently, Phoebe ended up in this universe by means of "time travel" so to say. she got to Joey/Chandler's universe much like how Marty McFly did in Back to the Future, fire tracks included!

however, she has mysteriously been transported back to her real universe and she is freaking out, Phoebe style! haha..Friends fans know what i'm talking about! as she is travelling back, her transport device is smashing into millions of things such as, abandoned cars, skulls, skeletons. it's really was a morbid journey.

when she comes to a complete stop, she's back in her real universe and she meets her family. they were very confused as to what had happened to her and where she disappeared to. they ask Phoebe where the heck she had been all these years and such. obviously, Phoebe cannot explain 'cuz she doesn't even know where she is herself. she has no recollection of this universe. Phoebe doesn't know what the heck they're talking about, but reluctantly hears them out because she's trying to piece everything together. her family, apparently have a lot of mail waiting for her.

so Phoebe and family arrive back at their apartment and Phoebe starts to open her letters. she is so surprised to find that all those letters were mail she had been waiting for back in the alternate universe. as she continued to open the mail, most of them contained money. no wonder she had been so cash-strapped. by the time she finished opening all the mail, she had a lot of money on her

while she was opening the letters, she was trying to get to know her brother by talking to him about sports. his favourite sports were baseball and basketball. in this odd universe, basketball playoffs had a consolation round to it. so if a team lost a series, they'd get to go to the consolation round instead of packing up and going home. also, for baseball, the rosters were different from the ones we know in our real world.

...and that's when i woke up.

The One With The BBQ

so i woke up this morning at around 7.15am and jotted this dream i just had down and then went back to sleep for another hour before i had to get up to get ready for church.

it starts off with my brother and i entering a boxing tournament, but we ended up going for referee training...or something like that. i remember just watching and counting punches. maybe i was training to become a stats person that records the number of punches in a round or something. *shrugs* i don't know.

then it turns out it wasn't a boxing tournament, but a wrestling tournament. it was kinda like a Survivor Series type of deal. both my brother and i were in this match, and it also featured The Big Show and Andre the Giant. i think there were more wrestlers involved, but i can't remember.

anyway, the match, it seemed that Andre the Giant's weakness was punches to the head, but after a while it stopped having any affect on him. so i fled the ring.

before i know it, i'm at a bbq. the bbq was in someone's garage. a lot of high school friends showed up for this one and for some really strange reason, i was the bouncer that checked for ID.

apparently, this dream was being played like a movie with a back story.

this whole bbq thing started when Glen (my cousin who just got married) and his buddies were in their ninja suits and dirt bikes coming home from a film they've just shot. they lived together in the townhouse and some of the bbq food was already outside. it was like a cool tent party kinda thing.

...and that's when i woke up.

The One With The Cruise

i was on a cruise and i was on it with some friends of mine. these friends, i've never really hung out with, but somehow i'm hanging out with them now. there was one girl whom i thought was pretty cute, her name was Alicia (i saw her in Waterloo back when we were looking for a place to watch Wrestlemania). anyway, she had the smoothest skin and i fell asleep leaning on her while she was talking with another person.

when i awoke, we were on a nice fantasy-type beach. it was so nice. nice hot, white sand with a rather easy climbing tree. then all of a sudden we were being attacked by something and the only refuge was the tree. so i climbed and tried to help everyone get up on to the tree, but some branches were breaking over the weight. when i was up in the tree, i noticed that there was a little treehouse base inside so i told ppl to get in.

...and that's when i woke up.
