The One With The Double Cross

i'm at home just minding my business, when i get an unexpected phone call in the morning. it was my boss at the agency saying that i have like 15mins to get packed 'cuz i was going on a mission to Orlando, Florida.

so i was scrambling to get packed & i didn't even know what airport or anything i was going on. i don't even think i got briefed on the case.

anyway, so i had to scramble to pack my clothes & my laptop (which proves to be useless anyway). i had a chauffeur come pick me up & we sped off to the airport.

on arrival to Orlando, i meet my partners. actually there were four of us. Matt Damon I, Matt Damon II (yeah i dunno why this was played by the same character & we never noticed), Eddie Griffin (google if you don't know who he is), & myself. we made friends with each one another & yeah we go on with our mission.

our mission required us to kinda just live there & live normal lives; however, one of us double crosses us with a 2x4. Damon I kinda just took the 2x4 & just knocked us out.

but then suddenly, we get rewinded to relive that moment again. we just got off the bus & was just about to hop a broken fence. this was the scene of where Damon I decides to attack us. but we already knew this ahead of time, so we kinda just ducked out of the way. when he swung his 2x4 it hit the fence & back at him. so essentially he knocked himself out. then we just took off.

so we find ourselves in the city, looking for jobs & a place to live. we find a nice place, kinda like a basement apartment with a nice backyard view. our driveway is also in the backyard. we were able to get 2 old Corollas, but of different models. we found jobs at a firm. i have no idea what we do. we were still undercover too, but we have no idea for what. & i don't know why we never called our boss to let him know what went down.

then one day, out of the blue, we bump into Damon I once again. he is seemingly a changed person. we were pretty cautious with him as he befriended us once again. he seemed pretty genuine too. so we're like alright, he can hang out with us.

big mistake.

he knocked on our door one day. & in his hand was the same piece of 2x4 that he tried to attack us with. we thought he was gonna attack us again! but in a surprising move, he handed the 2x4 to us as a sign of, i guess forgiveness?! this will be explained. so then we go to talk outside, & he talks about how he needs some way to get some money fast. he knew about our rising stock value that we had in our company, so he asks us if we could get him a couple shares in the company. so Griffin was like, "Yeah, we can help you out, just give us the money, & i'll invest it first thing tomorrow." but weirdly, we kept on giving Damon I pennies. don't ask, i have no idea why this is. also, we talked about the 2x4 & how he knocked himself out with the piece of wood. apparently he thought that we knocked him out with the piece of wood. so i guess that's why he gave us the piece of wood, to bury the hatchet. water under bridge.

during this whole thing, i was just kinda in the background behind Damon II & Griffin. just minding my own business, but i had reason to be suspicious. my prediction was right. as we were leaving a few minutes later to the office. we were all in a car, when Damon I comes running down the stairs to our backyard & pops a couple into Griffin through the windshield! Damon II & i immediately put our hands up. Damon I orders us out of the car. Damon I tells me to lie down on the grass to the side & don't move, while he orders Damon II to go with him. Damon I has a car in the front, & if he sees me move or get into the other guy to follow, he'll shoot me.

so they get into the getaway car, & i was able to climb to the top of the hill in the backyard just enough to see the getaway car. but this whole thing already attracted the cops & they were on his ass already. i get into the other car...

& that's when i woke up. damn cliffhanger!
